SCOPE & OUTCOMES

What the engagement covers.

Scope

  • Define the role
  • recruit champions
  • short recurring sessions, reusable materials and escalation to experts

Deliverables

  • Champion charter
  • engagement programme
  • tracking of questions, actions and business feedback

Acceptance evidence

Champions have contacts, resources and allocated time; raised issues receive trackable responses.

DELIVERY

How the work is structured.

Approach

Assess needs; tailor by role; create and deliver materials; measure learning; adjust with owners.

Prerequisites & responsibilities

Customer: sponsor, communications, HR/DPO where relevant, participants and reporting channel. Provider: learning design, delivery and proportionate analysis.

Scope factors

User groups, languages, formats, sessions, campaigns and customisation. Recurring programme or one-off activity; tools, travel and licenses priced separately.

Questions to clarify

Is time formally allocated to champions? Who handles difficult questions? How is value measured without creating an internal police force?

IMPORTANT BOUNDARIES

Champions do not replace the CISO or specialists; avoid unrecognised workload and implied liability.

Individual results are handled confidentially and interpreted in context. The programme supports useful behaviour; it does not replace technical safeguards or business controls.

IN PRACTICE

Illustrative situations.

These examples describe possible engagements and target outcomes. They are not customer references or achieved results.

Scenario 01

A multisite group’s central guidance is poorly understood. Project: train a champion at each pilot site. Target outcome: surface local constraints and adapt messaging without making champions responsible for incidents.

Scenario 02

A software vendor sees security as a release blocker. Project: developer champions and expert office hours. Target outcome: earlier questions and shared good practices while specialist reviews remain available.

Technology and reference context

Internal community, knowledge base and a governed discussion channel.

The final technology set is agreed during scoping, based on interoperability, licensing, access rights and operating requirements.

CONNECTED SERVICES

Build the next step.

These services can complement the engagement. They are not automatically included.
